Use the Ideal Gas Law to calculate the number of moles (n) of helium in a 4000 Liter weather balloon near the top of Mt. Rainier with a pressure of 0.6 atm and temperature of 260K.

    Explanation:

    P = 0.6atm, V = 4000L, R = 0.082, T = 260K

    Applying PV = nRT

    0.6*4000 = n*0.082*260

    Simplify n = (0.6 * 4000) / (0.082*260)

    n = 112.5moles
