How do stars keep their spherical shape?

    Stars are round in shape for the same reason why planets and moons are round: gravity. gravity pulls mass in towards the center, making large celestial objects round. if an object is not large enough like an asteroid or an odd shaped planetoid then gravity won't be strong enough to maintain a round shape.
