Mass of SO3 in grams (m) = ?
For molar mass of SO3, use the molar masses:
Sulphur, S = 32g;
Oxygen, O = 16g
SO3 = 32g + (16g x 3)
= 32g + 48g
= 80g/mol
Since, amount of moles = mass in grams / molar mass
10.8 mole = m / 80g/mol
m = 10.8 mole x 80g/mol
m = 864g
Thus, 10.8 moles of SO3 would be 864 grams
