A gas at constant temperature is enclosed in a container with a movable piston. It occupies a space of 10L at a pressure of 500 torr. If the pressure is increased to 1200 torr, what is the new volume?

    V2 = ?

    P1 = 500torr

    P2 = 1200torr

    Boyle's law states that at constant temperature, the volume of a gas is inversely proportional to its pressure.
