    To agitate the solute particles means to increase the collisions between them. This can be done by increasing the temperature because when temperature is increased then solute particles break into its constituent particles.

    When particles become smaller in size then the solubility increases and thus rate of solution will also increase.

    Whereas when temperature of water is decreased then there will be no collision between the particles. As a result, particles will not break into its constituent particles so there will be no solubility of solute into the solution.
