    Answer

    The molality of pentane will be be 0.84 Molality

    Data given

    mass of pentane = 15g molar mass of pentane = 72.15 mass of solvent (hexane) = 245.0 g = 0.245 Kg

    Solution

    Molality = (given mass : molar mass) : 1 Kg of solvent Molality = (15 : 72.15) : 0.245 Kg Molality = 0.84
