Given that,
voltage of circuit = V
resistance of circuit = R
current of circuit = I
The ohms law shows that voltage is directly proportional to both the amount of current flowing in the circuit and the resistance. Hence, Ohms law is mathematically expressed as:
V α IR
V = IR
Thus, an increase in current (I) will lead to a corresponding increase in voltage (V) of the circuit provided resistance remains the same, while a decrease in current will also cause voltage to decrease.
