What is a neutralisation reaction? Give two examples.

    A neutralization is a type of double replacement reaction. a salt is the product of an acid-base reaction and is a much broader term then common table salt.

    Example:-

    (i) HCl + NaOH - --> NaCl + HOH

    (ii) H2SO4 + 2NH4OH - --> (NH4) 2SO4 + 2HOH.
