    The value of Q is greater than the value of P

    Explanation:

    Mass (g) Density of Iron (g/cm³) Density of Silver (g/cm³)

    100 7.8 Q

    200 P 19.3

    Density is an intensive property, that means it doesn't change if the mass of the sample change. That is, the density of Iron (at constant temperature and pressure) is always the same (7.8 g/cm³) despite of it was measured in a 100 g or 200 g sample. Then, P = 7.8 and Q = 19.3

    Part 1: Q > P

    Part 2: Explained below.

    Explanation:

    Density of any substance is defined as "mass of a unit volume of that particular substance", Mathmetacally it is written as;

    δ = m / V

    Where;

    δ = Density

    m = Mass

    V = Volume

    Data Given:

    For Iron:

    Mass Density

    100 g 7.8 g. cm⁻³

    200 g P

    For Siver:

    Mass Density

    100 g Q

    200 g 19.3 g. cm⁻³

    In given cases it can easily be seen that Q is the density of Silver and P is the density of Iron. Also, it can also be observed that the density of Silver is 2.47 times greater than thant of Iron. Hence, it can be concluded:

    Q > P

    Secondly, Density is considered as Intensive Property. Intensive properties are those properties which does not depend upon the amount of the substance for which it is being measured. In our cases the density of Iron will remain the same either it is measured against 100 g or 200 g.
