Also, we should demonstrate the conservation of mass that states "The mass doe not destroyed or created from nothing but it can transferred from form to another one". Thus, by balancing the chemical reaction we are applying the conservation of mass. That in our example, the number of atoms of each element in the reacting and products sides must be equal.

    Fe is 1.0 atom in both sides.

    Na, Cl, O, and H are 3.0 atoms in both sides.
