Does a change in energy always indicate that a chemical reaction has taken place? Explain.

    Is water changing from a gas to a liquid a chemical change? No! A change in energy may tell you if a reaction has occurred but not if it's chemical or not. You have to look for other indicators of a chemical change such as color change ph or formation of a precipitate
