    The volume of krypton is calculated using ideal gas equation

    that is PV=nRT where

    P (pressure) = 1140 mm hg

    convert 1140 mmhg into atm

    = 1 atm = 760 mmhg

    ? atm = 1140 mm hg

    by cross multiplication

    = (1 atm x1140 mmhg) / 760 mmhg = 1.5 atm

    V (volume) = ? L

    n (number of moles) = 1.00 mole

    R (gas constant) = 0.0821 L atm / mol. K

    T (temperature) = 25 c into kelvin = 25+273 = 298 K

    make v the subject of the formula by dividing both side by P
