    168 L

    Explanation:

    Given dа ta:

    Mass of hydrogen gas = 15 g

    Volume occupied = ?

    Solution:

First of all we will calculate the number of moles of hydrogen gas.

Number of moles = mass / molar mass

    Number of moles = 15 g / 2 g/mol

Number of moles = 7.5 mol

One mole of any gas at STP occupy 22.4 L volume.

The standard temperature and pressure is 0°C and 1 atm.

Thus the volume occupy by the 7.5 moles hydrogen gas is,

    7.5 mol * 22.4 L/1 mol = 168 L
