Explanation:
Certain electrons can indeed, be shared. The only electrons that can be shared between atoms are valence electrons. The reason being is because they are the outer most electrons which are unpaired. You wouldn't want to remove any electrons from paired orbitals. The unpaired electrons seek to be paired, thereby making the element more stable. Your outer most electrons are called valence electrons.
