    Boyle's Law

    Explanation:

Boyle's law stipulates the relationship between the volume and pressure of gas while keeping temperatures constant. The two are inversely proportional, the higher the pressure the lower the volume of the gas.

    P ∝ 1/V

Scuba diver needs to be very careful when they perform deep diving. This is because the pressure of the water column above also affects the pressure and volume of the gases they breathe in through their oxygen tanks. They stand great risks from decompression that could destroy their tissues and muscles. When they rise rapidly from great depth, the pressure reduced and the dissolved gases in their tissues and muscle will expand rapidly before the body can acclamatize and get rid of excess gases casing damage.
