Inlet and exhaust valves of an engine.

    Explanation:

    Both are wrong.

The larger valve of an engine is the intake valve whereas the smaller one is the exhaust valve.

This is so because engine needs air and fuel in much greater volume than the volume of air exhausted. This increases the efficiency and poweroutput of the Engine.

In this question, both the technicians said that the exhaust valve is larger. So, obviously both of them made a wrong statement.
