percent composition by mass of CaCl₂ will not change if you have a large amount of the sample or only one formula unit of it. this is explained by law of constant proportion. according to law of constant proportion, a compound always contains elements in its composition in a fixed ratio and that does not change according to the amount of sample of compound taken.
