To fulfill the octet rule, electron sharing leads to how many electrons around each atom?

    To fulfill the octet rule you figure out how many valence electrons are necessary for the elements group. For example oxygen 6, fluorine 7 ... etc. Look on periodic table for other elements, the number of valence electrons is the group number
