What type of reaction is shown by this equation?

C6H8O7 (aq) + 3NaHCO3 (aq) - - > 3 H2O (l) + 3CO2 (g) + Na3C6H5O7 (aq)

    This is an acid base reaction which is basically a double displacement reaction. However, since carbonic acid is produced, it rapidly decomposes to carbon dioxide and water.
