What is the molarity of a solution of naoh if 2 liters of the solution contains 4 miles of naoh

    2 because M = (moles solute) / (liters solution)

    If 2L contains 4 moles

    then 1L contains x moles

    ∴ x = (4 moles * 1L) : 2 L

    = 2 moles

    Thus it is safe to say that the molarity of NaOH is 2 mol/L or 2 mol/dm³
