How many carbon atoms are present in 1.00 mole of methane ch4?

    1 mol CH4 = 1 mol C since 1 C in each CH4.

    1 mol C * 6.02*10^23 atoms/mol = 6.02*10^23 atoms C in 1 mol of CH4
