Which change would increase the pressure exerted by a gas?

    In answering this problem, we use the ideal gas equation PV=nRT where P is pressure, V is volume, n is number of moles, R is the ideal gas constant and T is temperature to correlate the variables. An increase in pressure will mean a decrease in pressure or an increase in the number of moles or an increase in temperature.
