Sulfuric acid (H2SO4) is a very strong diprotic acid. If 0.054 moles of sulfuric acid is mixed with water to make 667 milliliter of solution, what is the molarity of H+?

Answer in units of M doing mole/liter doesn't work

    =. o54/.037

    =1.45 approx

    The answer is 0.612M

    Find the molarity of the diprotic acid.

    667ml : 1000ml = 0.667L

    M = 0.054 : 0.667 = 0.08095952023 = 0.081 M H2SO4

    There are 2 H + for every one H2SO4, so the molarity of H + is twice the molarity of the acid.

    2 x 0.081M = 0.162M
