The four ways of testing a hypothesis might include the following:
1) a basic test. In this case, a researched will simply accept or reject the null hypothesis.
2) one sample Z test: the clue is in the name, this is a method of hypothesis testing that is not particularly reliable in that it depends on just one sample.
3) using a TI 83 calculator to find the mean: and therefore determine if the hypothesis is null or not.
4) Bayesian hypothesis testing: In which whether or not the hypothesis is accepted or rejected depends largely on the faith you have in your own results, and if you can prove your results through P-values.
