Ca (OH) 2 is added to a large beaker of water. How is the solution different from the original water?

    The solution is different from the original water when Ca (OH) 2 is added to a large beaker of water because you are placing Ca2 + and OH - ions into the water solution. It would not be the same with the original water because it has other ions in it that forms a mixture of both compounds.
