    HCl = H⁺ + Cl⁻

    c (HCl) = 1.00*10⁻⁴ mol/l

    [H⁺]=c (HCl) = 1.00*10⁻⁴ mol/l

    pH=-lg[H⁺]

    pH=-lg (1.00*10⁻⁴) = 4

    pH=4
