If the pressure of a sample of gas is doubled at constant temperature, what happens to the volume of the gas?

    Boyle's Law shows that there is an inverse relationship between pressure and volume. Pressure increases, volume decreases and vice versa. So since pressure doubles, the volume will decrease by the same amount
