The Bohr nuclear model suggests that: Electrons have a positive charge. Most of the atom is made of empty space. The nucleus is made of neutrons and electrons. The mass of an atom equals the number of protons.

    The Bohr Nuclear Model suggests that although there is a positively charged nucleus within the centre of the atom, and electrons in their valence shell, the space in between the 2 is quite large and as a result most of the atoms have large regions of empty space.
