You have stock soultion of 6.0m HCL. how would dilute it in order to prepare 500ML of 2.0ml HCL

    A useful dilution relationship is (M1V1) = (M2V2) where M is molarity and V is volume in liters.

    (6.00M x V1) = (2.00M x. 500L) (I assume you mean 2.0M)

    V1 = (2.00M x. 500L) / 6.00M

    V1 = 0.167L
