How many moles of solute are contained in a 250.0 ml solution with a concentration of 2.5 M

    Molarity = no. of moles of solute / volume of solution in liters

    2.5 = no. of moles of solute / 0.25

    no. of moles of solute = 2.5 x 0.25 = 0.625 moles
