How many moles of carbon dioxide will form if 5.5 moles of C3H8 is burned

    The reaction involved in above question is,

    C3H8 + 5O2 → 3CO2 + 4H2O

    (1mol) (3mol)

    Thus, complete combustion of 1 mole of C3H8 produces 3 moles of CO2

    ∴ 5.5 moles of C3H8 (if burnt completely) will produce 5.5 X 3 = 16.5 moles of CO2
