Explain in detail showing how the particles move in a solid, liquid and a gas.

    Solids barely move because they are tightly packed together. In a liquid, the particles move a little bit faster than the solid but still somewhat packed together. And with gas, the particles move freely and easily and are not tightly packed at all.
