Weathering is the breakdown of rocks at the Earth's surface, by the action of rain water, extremes of temperature, and biological activity. It does not involve the removal of rock material. Chemical weathering is a type of weathering that is caused by chemical reactions. It is caused by rain water which breaks the bonds holding the rock together. From the question we are supposed to use chemical weathering in a sentence; Well there are many sentences we can create if we understand what chemical weathering is; For example; Rhizoliths are created through the process of chemical weathering, decomposition, reprecipitation and cementation.
