How many moles of carbon monoxide (CO) are in 54.7 g of the compound?

    How many grams are in a mole of CO? Well C has 12 and O has 16. So theres one of each so 12+16 = 28 grams per mole. If we have 54.7 grams of it, we can divide 54.7/28 and that will tell us we have about 1.9535 moles of CO
