To calculate the Percentage by mass of KCl that dissolve in water is calculated as

first getting the total mass of KCl and that of water

    that is 33.6 + 192=225.6grams

the percentage by mass is therefore calculate as The mass of KCl divided by total multiply by 100

    that is (33.6/225.6) x100=14.9%
