Miranda works in a product-testing laboratory. New products come in for testing frequently. As the products come in, test protocols are developed. Testers in several different departments perform different tests and record their results. The results are then compiled into a database. The project manager reviews the test results and writes up a report describing the findings. When the business was small, it was easy for the company to share these documents using e-mail. But now the laboratory has grown. It receives many more products for testing and has hired many more employees. As a result, e-mail is no longer an efficient way in which to handle the exchange of documents. For this reason, Miranda implemented the use of a new tool.
