    Hot site

    Explanation:

Disaster recovery is the means of preventing total loss of data in the event of a disaster.

A hot site is a disaster recovery service that allows someone to continue his/her computer and networking operations, should there be a computer/equipment breakdown. It is usually up and running on a steady basis.

A hot site comprises all the available tools and infrastructure (s) to continue business activities. The downside however, is that it is expensive to run. This makes most people to go for cheaper and less efficient methods.
