A document that uses heading styles in Word makes it look more impressive and professional. You are able to maintain consistency throughout your document more so if you want to add table of contents. Below are the steps that Jemima needs to follow to modify her headings

She will go to the home tab and click on one of the several heading styles that she wants to modify in the styles group. Assume she chooses heading 1 style, she will right click on it and select modify.

A modify style window will pop up. Here is where she will make all changes she desires from font style, color, alignment, font size, line spacing, indent, to paragraph spacing.

She can also choose to automatically update the style if she manually makes adjustments. She can then finally click OK if she is comfortable with her choices. She can do that not to heading 1 style only but to other heading styles as well. She will finally highlight her headings and choose what heading style she wants to use for that heading and that is it
