To satisfy Arthur needs Arthur can subnet the address he has been given by using three host bits to give him eight subnets with up to 16 hosts on each one. The computers on his branch office network will use IP address ranges as 192.16.85.1 - 192.16.85.14 and a subnet mask of 255.255.255.240.
