the equation t = 0.25d^1/2 can be used to find the number of seconds, t, that it takes an object to fall a distance of d feet how long does it take an object to fall 64 feet?

    t = 0.25d^1/2 or 1/4d^1/2

    d = 64 feet

    Solution:

    t = √64/4

    = 8/4

    = 2 seconds

    Answer is 2 seconds.
