What is your employer required to have on fixed ladders that extend more than 24 feet in the workplace?

    According to OSHA on a worksite, ladders should be sturdy and secured. Also anything above 5 feet you must have a safety harness, and railings.

    Cages, wells, self-retracting lifelines not exceeding 150 feet and ladder safety devices.
