I think the answer that seems to match best with the excerpt would be " Martin's friends treat Grandpa with more respect than Martin does during the visit." I'm stuck between this one and the previous one but it doesn't seem like Martin is "relieved" because his Grandpa dressed well. The most logical answer to me would be the third one.
