Narrative writing includes writing a story that contains specific elements that work together to create interest for the reader and to make the reader feel as a part of story.
Research writing on the other hand includes facts. It includes citation, p araphrasing and summarizing. The main difference between these two types of writing is the style. Also the elements of the research writing are not parts of the narrative writing.
