This excerpt showcases the two different aspects of human personality, reason and emotion and how they work together to satisfy a man. While the structure is coherent, the fact that similes are used and the juxtaposition of words makes it clear that this is not an argument to be taken word for word; Thus choices 2 and 3 are incorrect. Also, it is not a humorous excerpt since it refers to a basic characteristic of humanity and it wants to present the situation about it. The usage of the words most correctly appeals to the emotional side of the readers.
