An author commits plagiarism when references are clearly cited. almost no original work is done on the paper. the author's name is mentioned and directions are given for location of the quote/paraphrase. paraphrased material is credited.

    Plagiarism is an unethical practice wherein you take or use someone's work, writing, song and idea and taking it as your own without acknowledging the original source of the information. It is a clear act of fraud by stealing someone else's literary works. Providing a list or sources used in a bibliography is not enough because you need to cite and acknowledge the original source of information even within the text you are making or else you are clearly commiting plagiarism.
