Extradition is when a criminal escapes from one country and tries to enter another. The country will not allow the criminal to enter it, and will send them back to the country they escaped from.

Extradition is a process in which you have a criminal who escaped from your country somewhere else. Since you don't have the permission to arrest him in other countries, you ask of the country in which he is hiding to turn him over to you. This process is called extradition.
