    "According to Pound, these three tenets are the foundation of imagism: Treat the subject of the poem directly. Use words economically, and avoid using words that don’t contribute to the subject. Treat the poem’s rhythm as a musical phrase, or as Pound explained: Don't chop your stuff into separate iambs. Don't make each line stop at the end and then begin every next line with a heave.
