Review President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's "Four Freedoms" speech and President Barack Obama's "Welcoming Remarks" speech.

Has the idea of "freedom from fear" changed over time? Compare and contrast both speeches to answer this question.

    We can say that even both speeches were directed to two different groups of people, the idea of freedom from fear remains the same. Roosevelt was talking about 4 freedoms: of expression, of religion, from want and from fear. The objective was to give hope to the citizens by saying that his intention was to form a society without fear. Obama was talking to people who was afraid of terrorism and he gives support to freedom from fear of any attack, recognizing that many had the fear inside. So the idea has not change
