In chapter 8, why does Huck decide not to tell anyone about Jim's escape? What does this tell us about Huck's character? Your response should be at least two hundred words.

    Huck also finds himself an outcast much like Jim. It also does not take long for Jim to endear himself to Huck. Huck likes Jim and he is sympathetic to Jim's predicament.
