    He had trouble sleeping or he slept"little as a nightingale" because he stayed up all night with women. He loved so much that he could not sleep. He had fun with women so he could not sleep. Direct quote," He loved so hotly that till dawn grew pale He slept as little as a nightingale" this means that he stayed up all night with women and loved them all night.
